Being a farm there are always plenty of animals to see including chickens, sheep, cattle and horses.
The cattle graze the surrounding fields in the summer. Sometimes we have calves being born. The annual harvest of hay and silage takes place in May / June. The barley and straw is harvested in September. This keeps the cattle fed and bedded down over the winter months. Ewes and ewe lambs graze the nearby land in Spring and Autumn.
